How to reach Ooty?

By Train
Tourists planning to travel Ooty by train can get off at the Udhagamandalam Railway Station located in the city. This station connects Ooty with the nearby town of Mettupalayam which is further connected to a number of other cities in and around the state namely Chennai, Mysore, Conoor, Kozhikode and Coimbatore. There are toy trains that run from the cities of and Mettupalayam, which help tourists reach Ooty.

By Air
Tourists planning to fly into Ooty will have to get off at the nearest airport which happens to be Coimbatore International Airport. This airport is located at a distance of approximately 105 km from the city.

By Bus
Tourists have an option to reach the city of Ooty by bus from almost all the prominent cities in Southern India. Tourists can also avail bus services both to and fro this city, which are regularly run by the State Government & private organizations as well. Tourists can travel to this tourist destination via bus thanks to numerous regular bus services running between Ooty and numerous other cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Mysore.
